• In order to gain this award I had to plan and lead implementation of a community service project
• This award also required years of planning and working on a variety of different merit badges that taught me useful skills in different aspects such as:
• Outdoor survival and environmental awareness
• Communication and teamwork abilities
• Leading groups of people to accomplish a common goal

Marching Band Section Leader | CHS

• Leading the trumpet section in the marching band of my high school taught me valuable leadership skills
• Teaching lower class students concepts to become better players and marchers improved my abilities to communicate and teach others new skills
